GILAMOTOR.com – Mengikuti perkembangan zaman, di Amerika, Honda Monkey kini berubah menjadi Grom. Sebenernya bukan murni Honda Monkey, tapi motor berlebel MSX125 ini merupakan representasi Honda Monkey di era sekarang ini.
Grom dibekali mesin 4 tak 125cc silinder tunggal berpendingin udara dengan transmisi empat percepatan. Motor ini sudah mengaplikasi sistem pembakaran injeksi. Disebutkan, motor yang jadi model Honda 2014 ini punya luaran tenaga hingga 9,7 PS pada 7.000 rpm dan torsi 10.6 Nm pada 5.500 rpm.
Honda menjelaskan kalau Grom diproyeksikan sebagai cara baru mendapatkan kesenangan berkendara dengan kepraktisan dan gaya hidup.
Di Amerika, Honda Grom dijual 2.999 dollar AS atau sekitar Rp 29,2 juta.
