GILAMOTOR.com, Jakarta. – Wujudnya yang kecil dan acap kali tak terlihat di kaca spion karena terhalang body mobil, membuat pengendara motor lebih berpotensi mengalami kecelakaan. Karena itu, pengaplikasian sistem lampu utama menyala secara otomatis saat motor menyala menjadi sebuah keharusan.
Bukan tanpa alasan, menyalakan lampu utama disiang hari akan membantu pengendara lain mendeteksi keberadaan motor melalui pancaran cahaya lampunya. Hal ini sekaligus menjadi peringatan dini bagi pengendara lain khususnya pengendara mobil, bahwa di belakang atau sekitarnya ada kendaraan lain.
Lantas apakah masalah lampu utama menyala di siang hari ini benar-benar efektif meminimalisasi kecelakaan?
Menurut Andry Berlianto, Instruktur dari JDDC Crash Free Int’l, hal itu sangat efektif. Meski belum memiliki data pasti seberapa besar persentasenya untuk meminimalisasi kecelakaan berkendara, tapi hal itu sangat efektif dan memang menjadi sebuah keharusan.
“Hal ini pernah diuji coba oleh salah satu komunitas motor di Jakarta, mereka menggunakan dua unit motor dan sebuah mobil. Satu motor dengan kondisi lampu menyala dan yang satunya dengan lampu utama tak menyala. Motor yang lampunya menyala lebih terdeteksi dan terlihat di kaca spion mobil meski di jarak yang jauh, sementara motor yang lampunya tak menyala nyaris tidak terlihat,†jelas nya.
Pancaran sinar lampu yang ada di kaca spion, kata Andry, akan membantu pengendara lain lebih waspada terhadap kondisi sekitarnya, sehingga kewaspadaan itu akan membantu meminimalis potensi terjadinya kecelakaan.
Suzuki, adalah pabrikan pertama yang mengaplikasikan sistem Automatic Headlight On (AHO) melalui produknya Titan dan Shogun Axelo. Menurut Suzuki, menyalakan lampu utama di siang hari sangat penting karena menyakut keselamatan berkendara. Saking pentingnya, pemerintah sendiri sampai membuat undang-undang tentang hal itu.
“Kedepan, semua produk Suzuki akan mengaplikasi sistem Automatic Headlight On (AHO). Selain demi keselamatan berkendara, hal ini sekaligus untuk mendukung peraturan undang-undang lalu lintas,†jelas Widjang, Marketing PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales.
Selain Suzuki, pabrikan motor Yamaha juga telah mengaplikasi sistem yang sama, hanya saja nama yang digunakan berbeda, Yamaha menyebutnya sebagai Daytime Running Light sistem (DRLs).
Saat ini Yamaha mengaplikasikan para produk Jupiter Z 2011 dan akan menyusul pada produk-produk lainnya.

menurut gw sih kaga efektif soalnya emang siang 2x orang yang naik mobil pada buta apa motor sebesar gitu engga keliatan, terus kalau berlawanan arah malah bisa bikin silau mata dan juga bikin tekor aki, yang bilang efektif mah orang yang punya kepentingan, yang jualan aki,lampu, sama motor itu sendiri kan kalau cepet tekor bisa beli lagi , apa lagi kalau dari samping bikin silau orang yang di samping kan oleng bisa aja kecelakaan, kalau lalu lintas tidak sepadat di indonesia munkin lebih efektif jadi kalau mobil oleng bisa langsung di hindari, kalau lalu lintasnya pada mobil oleng bisa menabrak kendaraan lain malah berabe, menurut gw mah tetep kaga ada efektifnya tuh lampu di nyalain siang bolong, kalau yang naik mobil udah pada katarak, penyakit mata mungkin efektif kalau masih sehat mah kaga efektif
Menurut ane efektif bgt tu gan, soalnya dari jauh pun kita2 ini udah bisa terlihat dari arah lawan kalo nyalain lampu.
Kalo soal bikin aki tekor, kayanya gak berlaku buat motor ane, soalnya setrum lampu diambil dari sepul. Buat silau mata??? emang cahaya lampu motor bisa lebih terang dari lampu bikinan yg diatas ya (matahari)???
Kalo dr segi keselamatan okelah…. tp, dr segi ekonomisnya tdk efektif krn aki cpt drop. Apalagi produk Suzuki yg mengandalkan pengapian sistem DC-CDI. Coba aja anda geber smash/shogun ketika lampu depan menyala dg Tidak, pasti tarikannya beda. Power mesin jadi berkurang/agak berat. Masukan utk Insinyur Suzuki, buat Super Reflector Light yg dpt menyalurkan/memantulkan cahaya jadi terang walaupun hanya menggunakan lampu ber-watt kecil.
Setuju banget, karna semua tes yang di jalani memang begitu adanya, saya sebagai pengendara mobil juga merasa seperti itu, kita jadi lebih mengetahui keberadaan motor apabila lampu utama dinyalakan, kalau ada orang yang beranggapan silau dan lainnya itu adalah alasan orang bodoh yang tak pandai berargumen dan mungkin seruntulan saat mengendarai motor. Saya juga lebih sering mengendarai motor tiap harinya dan saya menyalakan lampu, karna saya merasaan maamfaat dari menyalakan lampu motor saat saya mengendarai mobil.
Dan ralat juga, kalau untuk sistem lampu menyala otomatis pertama menurut saya adalah produk yamaha new jupiter z dengan nama DRL ( Daily Running Lights) terlebih new jupiter z lebih dulu di launching daripada suzuki titan dan alexo.

Nah kalo lampu motornya nyala, akan ada sedikit bias atau pantulan cahaya yang bikin pengendara mobil aware kalo dibelakang ada motor atau kendaraan.. dan itu bisa meminimalis potensi kecelakaan.

Menurut saya sangat TIDAK EFEKTIF. Kebijakan di negeri ini berlaku hanya untuk orang kecil seperti saya pengendara roda dua (motor). Seharusnya yang di larang itu penggunaan kaca film yg cenderung gelap pada kendaraan roda empat (mobil). gw termasuk yg gk setuju.. tuh undang2 yg bikin org ber-MOBIL smua n gk pernah naek motor. MINUS LAMPU NYALA : silau, aki tekor, reflektor leleh (gw sampe ganti lampu LED), lampu putus, n adalg parkir ditolak, trus ntar apalagi????.. PLUS LAMPU NYALA : negur pengemudi mobil yang PICEK n nyetir ngantuk, jg nambah pendapatan POLISI yg nilang…. SOLUSI : ya tinggal di BEL aja tuh mobil atau pake dimmer aj kn beres.. gw aj sering nyetir mobil n ngerasa gak banyak ngaruh. klu kecelakaan tuk faktor nyetir ugal2an.
Namanya lampu fungsinya kan emang buat penerangan ketika hari sudah gelap, lha kalo hari lagi terang, apanya yang diterangin?

Pengaruhnya yg paling terasa yah cepet bikin mata rusak, capek dan katarak coz di daerah kita yg tropis dan saat siang hari sangat menyengat ini, sdh cukup silau dng sinar matahari
kalo saya SETUJU dengan beberapa alasan orang2 yg TIDAK SETUJU, sy bukan orang pandai yg ngga’ setuju tapi tidak dengan argumen2 orang bodoh yg seperti dibilang sebelumnya di atas.
saya g setuju karena LOGIKA saja sudah bilang NGGAK EFEKTIF, hehe.
Segi LOGIKANYA adalah :
1) dengan lampu menyala dalam kurun waktu yg lama, akan mengakibatkan lampu menjadi lebih sering panas, sehingga akhirnya lampu akan cepat rusak(entah itu lampunya yg putus, fitting lampunya yg leleh kepanasan, ato apalah).
2) klo mslh aki mungkin g terlalu rawan, karena ketika motor hidup langsung re-charge, tp tetep saja akan lebih tidak awet daripada nyalakan lampu hanya waktu gelap/malam hari(bukan hanya malam).
3) dengan semakin banyaknya lampu yg menyala siang hari, suhu udara akan semakin meningkat, otomatis akan berdampak pada pemanasan global (tambah lebar deh tuh lubang di lapisan ozon, fyuhh).
Kesimpulan dan dari hsl analisa saya:
Sebenarnya faktor kecelakaan terbesar adalah dari rider maupun driver, saat ini saya sudah bnyk membuktikan bahwa kebanyakan rider n driver masih sangat jarang menggunakan manfaat dari spion dan lampu sein. Orang belok kanan kiri sak karepe dewe tp nggak melihat spion klo ada orang disampingnya/belakangnya yg mau mendahului, walaupun menyalakan lampu di siang hari ya tetep aja pasti ato hampir terjadi kecelakaan.
Saran saya:
Untuk itu setiap orang seharusnya mengerti bagaimana mengendarai di jalan (inilah yg sulit, yaitu selalu awas terhadap kondisi jalan dan kendaraan lain), bukan mengerti bagaimana cara mengendarai (anak kecil sdh bnyk yg bisa berkendara).
Seharusnya yg ditindak tegas itu kendaraan yg ngga’ lengkap(spion, lampu sein, lampu depan, lampu rem), kendaraan yg waktu malam tdk menyalakan lampu depan.
kalo ada salah2 kata yg menyinggung ato kurang berkenan saya mohon maaf, ingin berbagi pikiran saja.
peraturan goblok, yg dipaksakan untuk para pengendara motor, klo dipikir secara logika itu sama aja kita jalan kaki di siang hari trus kita nyalain senter/ obor/ lampu, nah keliatan tambah kayak orang ……. khan, bikin peraturan se enak perut aja……,
klo pmakaian dalem kota ga efektif(lagian jg yg bikin aturan jg blm tenytu ngikutin peraturannya, penegak hukumny jg baru nglakuin klo mo ada operasi/razia)…………..tapi u/ luar kota sangat efektif krn lalu lintas biasany lebih lengang jadi posisi motor yg d blkg mobil bsa lbh kpantau.

Tentang menyalakan lampu motor di siang hari, sebelumnya saya mau nanya:
yang punya ide bikin aturan ini pernah nggak sih naik motor? naik sepeda atau jalan kaki?
Aturan ini mungkin (dianggap) efektif bagi pengemudi mobil (nb indoor), tetapi bagaimana dengan orang-orang di luar (nb outdoor). Mereka yang naik motor, bersepeda atau jalan kaki akan merasa betapa silaunya ketika harus melihat lampu-lampu motor itu. Belum lagi ditambah ulah/kebiasaan pengendara motor kita yang kurang peduli dengan fungsi saklar lampu jauh/dekat sehingga lampu jauh yang menyilaukan itu melotot terus ke mata orang yang memandangnya.
Kerugian yang harus diterima pihak motor secara teknis adalah akan memperpendek umur lampu dan perangkat pendukungnya (termasuk urusan perlistrikan).
Kerugian lain ketika motor (dalam sikon mendesak) membutuhkan prioritas, karena lampu sudah menyala ketika pengendara memencet tombol high pasing efeknya jadi tidak signifikan karena nyala lampu jauh (kode untuk high pass) nyaris ‘tidak terlihat’.
Yang jelas orang-orang di luar (outdoor) akan lebih merasa terganggu dengan silau lampu-lampu itu, yang kemudian bahkan bisa berpotensi menimbulkan kecelakaan lain.
Apakah yang punya ide bikin aturan ini sudah berpikir mengenai hal ini?
(kongkretnya apakah pernah melakukan penelitian dan percobaan praktik –dari berbagai pihak dan sudut pandang– di lapangan)
