FDR Dengan EST Tembus 301,7 km/liter, Ini Metode Yang Dipakai

Begini bro, dikatakan PT. Suryaraya Rubberindo Industries [SRI], ban FDR dengan teknologi EST ini menggunakan material kompon yang berbeda dengan ban regular sehingga memberikan koefisien gesek ban dengan aspal yang lebih rendah.

Ban FDR dengan teknologi EST ini sudah melalui sejumlah uji laboratorium di internal dan eksternal dan terbukti bisa menghemat konsumsi bahan bakar. Salah satu pengujian eksternal yang dilakukan adalah dari Fakultas Teknik Universitas Indonesia.

Dalam pengujian yang menggunakan metode pengujian full to full, ban FDR dengan teknologi EST bisa menghemat bahan bakar hingga 7,1%. “Tentu saja gaya mengemudi dan kondisi jalan akan turut pengaruhi konsumsi bahan bakar namun, dengan menggunakan ban FDR berteknologi EST ada penghematan bahan bakar,” kata Jimmy lebih lanjut.

Sejauh ini, FDR sudah bekerja sama dengan Universitas Indonesia sejak tahun 2011. Dimas Cahya Negara, Sadewa Team Manager memaparkan, kerjasa Tim Sadewa Oto dari Universitas Indonesia sudah sudah beberapa kali ikutan lomba tersebut. Hanya saja tim Sadewa belum mendapat hasil terbaik di posisi puncak. Sebelumnya, tim Sadewa hanya menempati posisi terbaik kedua.

Baru tahun ini tim Sadewa berhasil merebut juara pertama dengan 301,7 km per liter.

Di kompetisi itu, setiap tim wajib mengelilingi sirkuit berbentuk kotak sejauh 11 km. Urban konsep itu harus berhenti di tiap lap sebagai simulasi berkendara stop and go. “Setelah menempuh jarak 11 km dengan kondisi berkendara stop and go, dicek berapa mili liter bensin yang kita habiskan. Dari situ dikalibrasi lagi dari mili liter dijadikan liter, lalu dari situ ditemukan km per liter,” beber Dimas.

“Strategi untuk mencapai angka fantastis 300 km/liter, 400 km/liter, kita menggunakan stop and go driving.”

“Jadi kita menyalakan mobil dengan top speed tertentu misal 30 km/jam atau 40 km/jam lalu kita matikan mesin dan biarkan mobil menggelinding tanpa dorongan mesin. Nah di situlah peran ban. Semakin rolling resistance nya kecil ban akan menggelinding semakin jauh,” papar Dimas.

“Dan perkembangan gliding kita dari tahun 2011 yang hanya sekitar 100m, lalu di 2012 tembus 250-300an meter, dan di 2013 kita berhasil tembus 450m. Terakhir di 2014 kita berhasil sampai 600m,” ungkapnya.

Dikatakan Dimas, memang dalam kompetisi itu menggunakan mobil, tapi dari hasil pengembangannya ada teknologi yang bisa diplikasi di ban motor.

Sebagi informasi, Shell Eco-Marathon dihelat di negara Eropa, Amerika dan Asia. Dan kompetisi di Filipina diikuti  120an tim dari puluhan negara.
