Lomba Kencang & Irit Di Yamaha Motor Show Semarang

GILAMOTOR.com – Dengan motor GT125, masyarakat Semarang diajak berkompetisi Kencang & Irit di helatan Yamaha Motor Show yang digelar di Simpang Lima Semarang sejak Sabtu (12/4) kemarin sampai hari ini, Minggu (14/4).

Lomba diikuti 5 tim dimana masing-masing tim terdiri dari 5 orang. Mereka mengelilingi venue jalan raya berjarak sekitar 30 km. Lima orang dalam satu tim bergantian menggunakan motor estafet (1 orang sekitar 6 km) mengelilingi venue acara. Bahan bakar diisi saat start dan finish. Pemenangnya adalah kombinasi dari yang paling kencang dan paling irit.

Keiritan diukur dengan membagi jumlah kilometer yang ditempuh dengan jumlah liter bensin yang dibutuhkan (kebutuhan bahan bakar yang dibutuhkan dari start hingga finish). Kencang diukur dengan waktu yang dibutuhkan dari start hingga finish.

Sebelum lomba, ada logging (mencatat) dengan data logger yaitu alat untuk mengecek sistem Fuel Injection Yamaha termasuk bagaimana pola atau habit saat motor dikendarai. Dari data logger inilah bisa diketahui misalnya motor yang time lap sama tapi tingkat keiritannya berbeda, karena gaya berkendara yang berbeda turut mempengaruhi.

Aktivitas ini selalu ada di kota-kota lokasi digelarnya Yamaha Motor Show,” ujar Eko Prabowo, GM Marketing Communication & Community Development Yamaha Indonesia.
