Gixxer 150 Ke Indonesia, Suzuki Ingin Injeksi dan DOHC

GILAMOTOR.com – PT. Suzuki Indomobil Sales (SIS) akan mendatangkan motor sport 150cc dari keluarga Gixxer.

Secara keseluruhan, Gixxer 150 punya desain sporty dan terkesan gesit melalui garis-garis bodi yang tajam. Aura Gixxer terlihat jelas pada bentuk tangkinya. Tapi Gixxer 150 hadir sebagai motor sport touring.

Tapi, Suzuki Indonesia tak mau mendatangkan Gixxer 150 yang beberapa waktu lalu diperkenalkan di India dengan kondisi ala kadarnya. Suzuki Indonesia ingin mendatangkan Gixxer 150 dengan fitur sesuai kebutuhan masyarakat Indonesia.

“Ada perbedaan kebutuhan antara India dan Indonesia,” kata Yohan Yahya, GM Marketing Suzuki 2W PT SIS melalui percakapan via messenger, Selasa (18/3).

Di India, Gixxer dibekali mesin 150cc silinder tunggal, SOHC, berpendingin udara dengan sistem pangkabutan bahan bakar masih menggunakan karburator. Suzuki India menegaskan bahwa Gixxer hadir dengan performa yang jauh lebih baik dan konsumsi bahan bakar yang lebih ekonomis di kelasnya berkat dukungan teknologi Suzuki Eco Performance (SEP).

Suzuki mengklaim kalau mesin Gixxer 150 dikembangkan dengan mengambil pengalaman dari dunia balap. Mesin dan sasis Gixxer 150 dikembangkan oleh para insinyur yang mengambangkan motor sport legendaries Suzuki, GSX-R series.

Meski demikian, Suzuki Indonesia ingin kalau Gixxer 150 sesuai dengan kebutuhan masyarakat Indonesia saat resmi dipasarkan nanti.

“Kami harapkan Gixxer 150 sudah injeksi dan menggunakan mesin DOHC saat masuk Indonesia,” cetus Yohan.

Kalau sudah mengaplikasi mesin DOHC dan sistem pengkabutan bahan bakar injeksi, Gixxer 150 siap menghadang laju CB150R StreetFire dan V-Ixion.
