Ducati : Moge Jepang Akan Perluas Segmen Moge di Indonesia

GILAMOTOR.com – Kawasaki, Yamaha dan Suzuki yang mulai bermain di segmen motor gede (moge) dianggap Ducati bukanlah sebuah gangguan besar. Ducati malah menganggap sebagai pendongkrak pasar moge di Indonesia.

“Yamaha, Suzuki dan khususnya Kawasaki yang semakin fokus pada segmen moge justru jadi hal yang menguntungkan bagi pasar moge di Indonesia. Karena segmentasinya akan semakin luas,” ujar Agustus Sani Nugroho Presiden Direktur PT Supermoto Indonesia (Ducati Indonesia) di Jakarta.

“Dulu mereka (pabrikan Jepang) bemain di motor kelas 250cc dengan harga di bawah Rp 100 juta sementara kita main di atas Rp 250 juta, gap nya sangat jauh. Dengan hadirnya moge-moge dari pabrikan Jepang akan mengisi segmen tengah di antara harga Rp 50 juta sampai di atas Rp 250 juta,” kata Nugroho.

“Kalau sudah demikian, segmen moge akan terisi dengan lebih baik di semua kelas,” tegas Nugroho.

Dan tentunya, hal itu akan memacu pertumbuhan penjualan moge di Indonesia yang berimbas pada pertumbuhan pasar Ducati. “Ducati itu eksklusif. Tidak semua orang bisa langsung beralih ke Ducati. Selain harga, kepribadiannya pun berbeda,” sambung Iwan Gogo Panjaitan, CEO Ducati Indonesia.

Setiap moge punya prestige tersendiri, tinggal konsumen memilih mana yang lebih menarik untuk diboyongnya.
