909 Hot Matic, Mulai Serius Tangani Custom Moge

GILAMOTOR.com – Nama rumah modifikasi 909 Hot Matic mulai berkibar pada tahun 2005 silam. Rumah modifikasi ini merupakan salah satu divisi 909 yang dulu ada beberapa divisi seperti 909 Trail Adventure, 909 Hot Paint dan beberapa bisnis unit milik 909. Nama 909 sendiri diambil dari nomer kendaraan favorit keluarga.

Susanto Gunawan builder sekaligus pemilik 909 Hot Matic mengaku kalau nama Hot Matic muncul karena motor matik hasil garapannya sering mengikuti dan memenangkan kontes modifikasi.

“Dari situ orang-orang jadi lebih mengenal nama 909 Hot Matic,” terang lelaki yang akrab disapa Yayank ini. Sejauh ini 909 Hot Matic memang lebih sering menggarap modifikasi dari trah motor matik. Tak heran jika rumah modifikasi yang ada di Jl. Cihampelas, No. 187, Bandung, lebih dikenal dengan sebutan Hot Matic.

909 sebetulnya menggarap semua kendaraan roda dua, baik motor maupun sepeda. Tapi pada 2013 kemarin sejak bos 909 ini punya tunggangan baru moge jenis Harley-Davidson Sportster, 909 mulai menggarap modifikasi moge. Moge asal Amrik itu yang jadi kelinci percobaan custom ala 909.

“Aku juga masuk komunitas motor besar jadi orang mulai percaya custom motor besar setelah melihat hasil,” terangnya.

“Untuk gaya modifikasinya tidak terbatas, sesuai keinginan pemilik kendaraan. Tapi kalau gaya modifikasi favorit ku, Hot Rod,” tegasnya.

Custom moge mulai digarap serius 909. Bahkan 909 kini bergabung atau masuk menjadi bagian dari GEARHEAD MONKEY GARAGE, yang berkecimpung di dunia motor dan mobil custom. “Itu dimulai akhir tahun lalu. Sebenarnya bisa menggarap semua jenis motor, tapi untuk sementara ini memang ‘pasien2’ GMG terdiri dari motor-motor besar,” tandasnya.
