GILAMOTOR.com – PT Faito Racing Indonesia luncurkan gigi rasio untuk Yamaha Jupiter MX dan Suzuki Satria 150FU di helatan CST Motorcycle Festival 2013 di Plaza Parkir Timur Senayan, akhir pekan kemarin.
Gigi rasio hasil pengembangan para insinyur Faito di Malaysia itu mampu mengubah performa dua motor bebek sport itu jadi luar biasa. Bahkan dampaknya sangat jauh berbeda dibandingkan dengan gigi rasio bawaan pabrikan.
Faito mengklaim, penggunaan gigi rasio Faito pada Satria FU, mampu membuat kecepatan puncak hyper underbone itu tembus 200 kpj. “Gigi rasio ini plug and play. Tinggal pasang tanpa harus memodifikasi bagian mesin lainnya,†papar Willet Teoh, Managing Director Faito Malaysia.
Willet juga memaparkan bahwa dengan gigi rasio Faito, putaran mesin Satria 150FU bisa tembuh 14.000 rpm dari sebelumnya hanya 12.000 rpm saja.
Perbedaan besar juga terlihat pada gigi rasio untuk Jupiter MX. Selain penamabahan 1 gigi percepatan, dari lima percepatan jadi 6 percepatan, gigi rasio untuk Jupiter MX juga bikin bebek sport Yamaha itu bisa tembus sampai 181 km pada gigi 6.
Menurut Hawadis, mekanik balap kawakan Indonesia dari tim Yamaha Tunggal Jaya, gigi rasio ini sama seperti gigi rasio yang biasa digunakan untuk balapan. “Sama saja dengan gigi rasio untuk balap, pakai close ratio. Jadi tenaga tak ngedrop saat perpindahan gigi. Dan itu yang membuat motor bisa dapat top speed lebih baik karena tenaga mengisi terus,†jelas Hawadis.

Tapi dengan top speed yang meningkat, tentu ada yang dikorbanin. Misal torsi buat di jalan menanjak, apa tetap oke apa jadi boyo. Kan gak lucu top speed 200 Kpj, tapi pas nanjak musti didorong. 🙂 Mustinya dishare juga untuk dapet 200 Kpj musti lari berapa kilo!

setahu sy tinggi rendahnya RPM ditentukan dari CDInya, apakah menggunakan limiter/unlimiter, tp anehnya hanya mengganti gir rasio faito RPM kok tembus 14000 rpm gila (ah, yg bener)
kayaknya mustahil di gigi 6 bisa ampe 14000 rpm dgn kondisi standard,keburu mentok limiter aatau paling paling di 10000 rpm dah ga mau naik lg rpmnya

coba bagi rekan2 montir atau para suhu korek balap ditanya, apa benar cuma ganti gear ratio bisa nambah torsi dan tembus top speed 200 kpj, pasti jawabanya ” NGGAK MUNGKIN !! “, karena untuk bisa meningkatkan top speed harus disertai pula peningkatan tenaga motornya dulu, baru setelah tenaga besar didapat kemudian diteruskan melalui gear ratio yang tepat untuk penyalurannya.
pesan saya, jangan percaya sama berita jualan kaya gini yang belum bisa dipertanggung jawabkan kebenarannya. dengan 2,6 juta bisa tembus 200 kpj cuma ninja 2 tak yg bisa mas bro….
kalo penjualnya berani jamin satria standar cuma ganti gear ratio bisa tembus 200 kpj trus test di sentul dan terbukti benar, baru deh boleh percaya, kalo ngga ada bukti = HOAX TINGKAT DEWA !!
Wah awalnya saya juga ragu dengan berita gear ratio Faito ini. Tapi setelah saya mencoba sendiri di motor Satria FU saya, wah bener2 gila hasilnya. Bukan cuma 200 kpj, tapi bisa tembus 800 kpj, luar biasa. Kalo ngga percaya bisa coba cara saya. Kirim motor Satria FU ke saya, trus akan saya pasangkan gear ratio Faito, sebelumnya pasang GPS Race Logic di motor anda, maka setelah motor anda terima, akan terlihat max speed yang pernah dicapai akan lebih dari 500 kpj.
