GILAMOTOR.com – Meski pasar motor gede (moge) terbilang kecil, tapi Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing (YIMM) memastikan akan mendatangkan empat mogenya (R1, R6, VMax dan TMax) di pasar Indonesia.

4 moge itu sebenarnya sudah lama ada di Indonesia. Hanya saja, moge itu didatangkan oleh Importir Umum (IU), bukan didatangkan langsung oleh Yamaha Indonesia. Dan pada November mendatang, Yamaha secara resmi Yamaha akan menjualnya di pasar Indonesia. Tujuannya untuk mengangkat image segmen motor sport dan juga untuk menunjukkan teknologi Yamaha kepada masyarakat.

“Moge Yamaha kami hadirkan di pasar Indonesia untuk mengangkat brand image motor sport Yamaha di Indonesia,” papar Yoichiro Kojima, President Director PT YIMM di sela-sela acara turing Yamaha Jelajah Sumatera di Harau Sumatera Barat, Sabtu (26/10).

Jadi, kehadiran 4 moge ini bukan untuk mencari untung dari jualan motor karena jelas tak mungkin Yamaha bisa untung besar dengan menjual 4 moge. Hal itu dipertegas oleh Eko Prabowo, GM Promotion and Community Development di Lembah Harau. “Tak mungkin untun besar dari moge. Moge itu hanya untuk mendongkrak image dan penegasan bahwa kami bukan pemain sepeda motor sport besar,” beber Eko.

Selain itu, kedatangan moge ini melalui YIMM juga memberi keuntungan bagi para pecinta moge Yamaha di Tanah Air. Pasalnya, layanan purna jualnya yang akan diberikan ke konsumen juga akan lebih baik ketimbang membeli lewat IU. Teremasuk jaminan ketersediaan suku cadangnya.
