Kopdar Komunitas Mobil, Motor dan Sepeda Tandatangani Komitmen Selamat Di Jalan

GILAMOTOR.com – Kopdar alias Kopi Darat jadi salah satu media paling tepat meningkatkan kesadaran anggota komunitas dalam menjaga keselamatannya saat berada di jalan. Hal tersebut  terbukti melalui kopdar yang dilakukan oleh I Wanna Get Home Safely! (IWGHS) pada tanggal 19 Juli 2013 di Thamrin Terrace, Thamrin City Jakarta.

Kopdar itu dihadiri lebih dari 650 anggota komunitas motor, mobil, dan sepeda yang berada di Jabodetabek. Dalam acara itu, IWGHS memberikan gambaran akan pentingnya menjaga keselamatan di jalan melalui berbagai tayangan video edukasi menjaga keselamatan saat berada di jalan dan berbagi informasi mengenai data-data kecelakaan di Indonesia.

Setiap anggota komunitas juga diajak untuk mengisi commitment letter yang berisikan janji kepada keluarga atau orang yang disayangi agar para anggota komunitas motor dapat menjaga keselamatannya saat berada di jalan.

“Commitment letter tersebut dinilai dapat cepat ditangkap maknanya oleh para anggota komunitas. Dengan mengingat pentingnya keluarga, maka para anggota komunitas motor akan lebih sadar akan pentingnya menjaga keselamatannya saat berada di jalan,”ujar Ernita Sari Business Support Division Head Adira insurance.

Sampai dengan saat ini, hampir 250.000 masyarakat Indonesia telah menandatangani commitment letter tersebut. Diharapkan, commitment letter tersebut dapat meminimalisir tingkat kecelakaan di jalan melalui peningkatan kesadaran masyarakat saat berada di jalan.

Terkait dengan jelang mudik lebaran, dalam acara tersebut IWGHS juga mengadakan doa bersama disertai dengan pemasangan lilin oleh seluruh anggota komunitas, agar periode mudik lebaran tahun 2013 ini dapat berjalan lancar.

Seluruh rangkaian kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh IWGHS dalam berkampanye tersebut ternyata membuahkan hasil yang cukup menggembirakan setiap tahunnya. Sampai dengan Desember 2012, riset yang dilakukan oleh sebuah lembaga independen menghasilkan sebuah data yang cukup akurat dimana 90% dari 250 responden yang tersebar di Jakarta, Depok, Tangerang, dan Bekasi mengatakan bahwa  mereka menjadi lebih berhati-hati saat berada di jalan setelah mengetahui adanya kampanye IWGHS ini.
