Dikatakan sumber, Suzuki merencanakan menghadirkan motor sport 150cc dengan dua model, full fairing dan naked. “Motor baru Suzuki rencananya sport 150cc versi full fairing dan versi naked. Motor itu rencana untuk tahun depan,” ucap sumber, di sela-sela peluncuran Suzuki Shooter di Hotel Hilton, Bandung akhir pekan kemarin.

“Memang masih rencana, belum tau jadi atau tidak. Modelnya untuk bersaing dengan Honda CBR150R dan Yamaha V-Ixion,” yakin sumber.

Di kesempatan lain, sumber menjelaskan, kemungkinan mesin yang akan ditopang motor sport terbaru Suzuki itu adalah pengembangan dari mesin Suzuki FXR yang sudah terkenal performanya. “Saya tidak bisa bicara banyak karena memang masih rencana. Tapi bisa jadi mesinya akan DOHC, oil cooler dan injeksi,” ucap sumber.
