Awal 2013 Yamaha Lepas 3 Motor Baru

GILAMOTOR.com. – Masuk minggu kedua Januari 2013, Yamaha langsung menggebrak pasar dengan melepas tiga motor barunya, all new Xeon RC, new SoulGT dan new Jupiter MX. Yamaha bilang, tiga produk baru ini adalah hadiah tahun baru 2013 untuk konsumen Yamaha di Indonesia.

“Tahun baru ini Yamaha memberi hadiah tiga pilihan motor baru untuk konsumen Yamaha Indonesia,” ucap Dyonisius Beti Executive Vice President YIMM di pabrik Yamaha Pulo Gadung yang jadi lokasi peluncuran tiga motor baru Yamaha hari ini, Rabu (9/1).

Terus, apa aja yang baru dari tiga motor itu..? Yang benar-benar baru hanya ada pada Xeon RC (Racing Champion). Sementara dua motor lainnya SoulGT dan Jupiter MX hanya mendapat sedikit perubahan.

Kalau gitu, yuk kita lihat lebih detil perubahannya.

All New Xeon RC

RC artinya Racing Champion, buat mempertegas Xeon sebagai matik racing berteknologi balap dengan DiASil Cylinder dan Forged Piston. Yamaha juga sempurnakan mesin 125 cc berpendingin cairan dan penambahan YMJET-FI. Perubahan itu menaikkan tenaganya jadi 11,4 PS dan torsi meningkat jadi 10,4 Nm. Nah, dari penambahan tenaga, torsi dan bobot yang lebih ringan, membuat akselerasi jadi lebih spontan namun konsumsi bbm lebih irit sekitar 20 persen.

Dengan tagline Keren, Cepat, Canggih – matik injeksi ketiga Yamaha setelah Mio J dan Soul GT ini memiliki desain bodi sporty dan agresif. Katanya nih, desainnya terinspirasi oleh pesawat tempur F117-Nighthawk yang tampak jelas pada tebeng depannya.

Desain lampu belakang juga dibuat dengan konsep After Burner Jet Tail Lamp. Makin keren dibanding Xeon lawas.

Eh iya.. Yamaha juga menjelaskan, dari beberapa pengurangan komponen macam pengaplikasian single arm, bikin bobot Xeon RC jadi lebih ringan dan bikin Xeon makin lincah bermanuver seperti Nighthawk saat meliuk-liuk di langit. Ngeeriihhhh...

Peleknya yang sekarang juga sudah keliatan lebih sporty dengan balutan cat warna merah dan pin stripe di sisi pelek nya. Jadi nggak perlu lagi ke tukang cutting sticker buat bikin pin stripe di pelek. Nggak cuma peleknya aja, sok belakang nya juga udah berwarna mengikuti warna bodinya. Jadi nggak perlu lagi diganti dengan sok after market untuk pilih warna yang sesuai dengan bodinya. Aseek kaan..?

Untuk menambah kesan lebih berkelas, knalpot yang dibuat menyerupai desain matik gede Yamaha T-Max, dilapis dengan cover berwarna titanium.

Apa lagi yang baru di Xeon.? Bagasinya dibikin lebih gede jadi bisa nyimpen helm half face. Terus key shutter tiga fungsi untuk menyalakan motor, pengaman ganda dan pembuka bagasi. Pengeremannya udah pakai Smart Lock System yang praktis digunakan. Terus dilengkapi lagi dengan Smart Stand Switch untuk meningkatkan keselamatan berkendara.

Lima warna Xeon RC punya nama keren Victorious Red (merah – putih), Regal Purple (ungu – putih), Dazzling Black (hitam – kuning), Cosmic White (putih – oranye) dan Thunder Bolt Blue (biru – putih).

Xeon RC dibandrol Rp 15.1 juta on the road Jakarta.

New SoulGT

Kalau dulu SoulGT dibuat terinspirasi dari muscle car Chevy Camaro. Nah, kalau yang sekarang desainnya terinspirasi dari Street Race Car.

Motor yang terinspirasi street race car ini hadir dengan kombinasi warna berani. Yamaha bilang, orang-orang ekspresif dan dinamis sangat mendambakan motor bergaya seperti ini. Dan itulah yang dipenuhi Yamaha ditambah dengan lima warna baru. Dazzling Black, Victorious Red, Cosmic White, Thunder Bolt Blue dan Regal Purple.

Soul GT Street menggunakan tipe mesin 4-langkah, 2 valve, SOHC, berpendingin kipas dan berkapasitas 113 cc. Mesin ini mampu menghasilkan tenaga hingga 7,75 PS di putaran 8.500 rpm dengan torsi puncak mencapai 8,5 Nm di 5.000 rpm.

New Jupiter MX

Jupiter MX pertama kali diluncurkan di 2006, lalu mengalami perubahan total di 2010. Setelah itu beberapa kali dilakukan facelift termasuk di tahun ini. Bedanya di 2013 ini Jupiter MX berubah minor tujuannya mempertegas racing champion line up Yamaha.

Kali ini motor anak muda itu datang dengan tag line “The Brave Spirit”. Dijelaskan Yamaha, tag line itu berarti Jiwa sporty pemberani yang dimiliki ksatria mengalir di tubuh anak muda bersama Jupiter MX fresh 2013. Ini pula yang menginspirasi Yamaha mengembangkan jiwa bebas aktif khas generasi muda.

New Jupiter MX masih pakai mesin lama, 4 langkah, 4 valve, SOHC, berpendingin cairan 135 cc. Mesin ini diklaim Yamaha mampu menghasilkan tenaga hingga 12,52 PS di putaran 8.500 rpm dengan torsi puncak mencapai 12,14 Nm di 6.000 rpm.

Untuk SoulGT dan JupiterMX 2013, harganya nggak berubah, masih sama dengan harga lamanya.
