Mio Low Rider: Terinspirasi Dari Mobil Hot Rod

GILAMOTOR.com. – Meski boleh dibilang sudah jauh dari trend, tapi konsep modifikasi bergaya low rider masih diminati oleh beberapa kalangan. Dengan beragam alasan, konsep modifikasi low rider pun jadi pilihan mereka.

Salah satu pemotor yang berani mengambil langkah itu adalah bro Ronald. Yamaha Mio miliknya berubah drastik menjadi sebuah low rider beraliran hot rod. Ronald menjelaskan bahwa ubahan Mio nya itu terinspirasi dari gaya modifikasi Hot Rod pada mobil.

Ubahan Mio kesayangan nya dilakukan di rumah modifikasi Black Stallion. Ubahan awal dimulai dari penggantian kaki-kaki dengan pelek lebar 4 inchi berdiameter 14 inchi hasil gawean punggawa Black Stallion.

Pelek yang tak lazim melekat pada sebuah skutik itu dibalur warna merah dengan model jari-jari rapat berbungkus ban Brigestone ukuran 120/70. Untuk urusan sok depan, Black Stallion hanya mengganti dudukan segi tiganya untuk menyesuaikan penggunaan pelek dan ban lebar. Sementara sok nya masih bawaan Mio.

Sementara untuk menghentikan putaran roda belakang, Black Stallion masih mengadopsi teromol yang sudah di sesuaikan untuk pelek lebar berukuran 10 inch dengan garis tengah 14 inch.

Dengan ukuran ban yang besar tentunya penambahan power diperlukan, penggantian piston pun jadi pilihan. Over size 58 dilakukan dengan penggantian piston standar Mio dengan piston Sonic hingga kubikasi bertambah menjadi 150cc.

Pipa gas buang dipasang model belalai gajah dua lubang bertingkat berbalut krom karya Black Stallion.

Bagian komponen penerus daya meggunakan standar Mio, karena dirasa masih mampu untuk mengakomodir olahan dapur pacu. Hanya cover CVT yang mendapat sentuhan krom agar terlihat kokoh.

Untuk menopang komponen mesin mengikuti gaya low rider, dipasang undur-undur sepanjang 35cm.
