Mas bro Gilamotor, aku pengguna Scorpio dan ingin mengganti kiprok karena dapat masukan dari beberapa teman, kiprok motor ku harus diganti. Apakah ada penggantian lain yang harus diikuti dengan penggantian kiprok? Terimakasih

Terimakasih bro Dipo atas pertanyaannya. Sayang, Anda tidak menuliskan alasan Anda mengapa Anda ingin mengganti kiprok. Tapi saya akan coba bantu menjawabnya.

Jawir, kepala mekanik bengkel RPM di bilangan Cigajur, berbagi informasi bagi pemilik Yamaha Scorpio yang ingin mengganti regulator (kiprok) kelistrikan, tanpa harus mengganti spul. Perubahan ini biasanya diaplikasikan oleh pemilik Yamaha Scorpio yang ingin mengaplikasikan lampu tambahan atau aksesoris tambahan yang berhubungan dengan kelistrikan motor.

“Pada dasarnya pergantian regulator Yamaha Scorpio sah-sah saja,” ungkap punggawa dari bengkel spesialis Yamaha Scorpio tersebut.

Ada dua cara termudah, tanpa harus mengubah jalur kabel dan efeknya sama saja dengan muatan 12 volt. Ada dua regulator yang diusulkan, yakni milik motor Mio dan RX-King yang notabene motor keluaran Yamaha juga.

Saran lain dari Jawir yakni mengubah sistem arus kelistrikan standar Yamaha Scorpio dari AC ke DC. Namun sistem ubahan ini, selain mengubah regulator standar milik Honda Tiger juga diimbangi dengan perubahan spul dan jalur kabel, serta imbuhan relay dua buah.

Aplikasi usulan Jawir ini disebut aplikasi tambahan lampu lebih dimungkinkan. Sementara untuk biaya usulan terakhir ini disebut memakan biaya Rp 200 ribu.
