Uji TVS Tormax 70 Jam Non Stop Di Sentul

GILAMOTOR.com, Jakarta. – Luar biasa. Belum juga resmi dijual di pasar otomotif Indonesia, bebek super TVS Tormax 150 cc langsung menyabet rekor dari Musium Rekor Indonesia (MURI) setelah melalui pengujian ketahanan motor selama 70 jam nonstop.

Sebelum resmi diluncurkan ke pasar otomotif Tanah Air, PT TVS Motor Company Indonesia (TVSMCI) melakukan tes endurance pada produk terbaru mereka, Tormax 150.

Tes endurance itu dilakukan selama 70 jam nonstop di sirkuit Sentul, Bogor, Jawa Barat dari tanggal 4 – 7 Mei 2011.

Menurut TVS, uji endurance ini dilakukan sebagai pembuktian bahwa kwalitas produk dan teknologi baru yang melekat pada TVS Tormax 150 cc, mampu memenuhi keinginan masyarakat akan motor yang bertenaga dengan ketahanan mesin yang dapat diandalkan.

Dalam tes endurance selama 70 jam tanpa henti itu, Tormax digeber dalam segala kondisi cuaca, baik panas, hujan, mendung, siang dan malam.

Dari 4 hari selama 70 jam, 1 menit dan 43,511 detik tanpa henti, Tormax mencatatkan jarak tempuh sejauh 5,800 km dengan 1,463 putaran. Dari tes endurance itu pula, Tormax 150 mencatatkan kecepatan puncaknya hingga 131 km / jam dengan konsumsi bahan bakar mencapai 41 – 45 km / liter.

“Saat tes endurance lalu, Tormax mampu mencatatkan kecepatan puncaknya hingga 131 km/jam dengan catatan waktu tercepat satu putaran selama 2 menit 22.143 detik,” jelas Darmadi Tjuatja, Chief Operating Officer PT TVSMCI.
