Jupiter MX Makin Sporty

GilaMotor, JAKARTA.- Gelaran Jakarta Motorcycle Show 2010  (JMCS) yang akan berlangsung mulai tanggal 3 – 7 November mendatang, dipastikan akan menghadirkan beberapa motor baru dan konsep dari setiap ATPM.

Selain motor baru dan konsep, beberapa pabrikan juga akan menghadirkan motor hasil modif dari rumah modifikasi kenamaan di Jakarta. Seperti Kawasaki yang kemungkinan besar akan menghadirkan modifikasi D-Tracker nya. Suzuki dengan motor sport nya, Honda dan Yamaha dengan beberapa motor barunya serta tak ketinggalan pabrikan asal India, TVS dan Bajaj.

Seperti yang sudah banyak beredar tentang motor bebek sport Yamaha, Jupiter MX, dipastikan juga akan meramaikan gelaran JMCS mendatang. Setelah sekian banyak spy shoot yang menunjukan bahwa Jupiter MX akan mengenakan disc brake para rem belakangnya, ada sumber yang mengatakan bahwa sistem transmisi Jupiter MX pun akan berubah.

Ya, menurut sumber terpercaya GilaMotor.com, Jupiter MX baru ini akan mengusung transmisi seperti yang diaplikasi pada motor sport.

“Selain disain baru yang lebih sporty dan penggunaan disc brake pada rem belakang, sistem transmisinya pun sudah seperti motor sport kebanyakan. Gigi 1 kedapan, gigi 2, 3 dan seterusnya kebelakang,” jelas sumber.

“Bicara masalah perfoma, boleh lah diadu dengan motor bermesin 150 cc,” tambah sumber tersebut.

Lantas apakah motor ini akan diluncurkan dan dipasarkan dalan gelaran JMCS mendatang? Untuk masalah yang satu ini, sumber tak mau bicara banyak. Pasalnya, menurut sumber, untuk urusan peluncuran dan penjualan merupakan wewenang manajemen.

“Wah kalau urusan peluncuran dan jualan itu tergantung manajemen perusahaan, saya tak tahu kalau soal itu. Namun untuk peluncurkan sepertinya akan dilakukan tahun ini,” tandas sumber.

  3. Semoga hal ini tdk hanya isyu. Jika bener2 terjadi, maka motor pertama yg pakai discbrake utk Yamaha Indonesia adalah Jupiter MX. Kami sangat senang mendengar nya. dan utk segmen motor lain juga kami harapkan mulai utk memberi disc2 bawaan pabrik. Yamaha Semakin di Depan !!!
